Ross Hall - (SKU#: NM30006)
North Idaho 1949
A friend of the photographer chided him that he was missing the photo possibility of a lifetime. Deer fed on his livestock's hay at night, and bucks, he insisted, would sometimes fight off for the does. Although skeptical, Hall finally convinced himself to set up his equipment in subzero weather. Hours passed before the deer emerged. With the trip of a shutter, Ross Hall captured one of wildlife photography's most accomplished images. Boxing Bucks was featured as a picture of the week in a 1951 issue of Life magazine.
